Forest Path

Our goal is to build a community for hikers in the Halton Region (and beyond) that focuses on raising awareness of Halton's many beautifully unique trails and the conservation efforts that protect them.

   Our Story

Halton Hikers began as a Facebook group in January 2021 during the COVID Pandemic as a way to help local hikers connect, share experiences, and discover new trails. Today, more than 4000 members are sharing in the adventure together, collectively hiking tens of thousands of kilometers and counting. You might even spot some of our members along the trails sporting Halton Hikers shirts!
